It is a privilege to attend activities such as dances at Arvada West HS. We have instituted a “dance window” policy to be eligible to attend dances. The upcoming dance window for Prom is from Tuesday, March 14th through Friday, April 21st. In addition to no major discipline or behavior events this year, during this timeframe leading up to the dance the following must be true for students to be eligible to attend:
Fewer than 8 UNX Tardies
Fewer than 6 UNX Period Absences
No more than one Failing grade (includes Advisement & Study Hall)
Juniors & Seniors are invited to attend prom. Please reach out to your administrator regarding your eligibility to attend. If you would like to invite a guest who is an Arvada West 9th or 10th grade student, they too must meet the above guidelines and complete a guest form signed by their administrator noting that they are eligible. If the guest is not an AWest student, a guest form must be completed by their school’s administrator and submitted by 3pm on Monday, April 17th. NO LATE GUEST FORMS ACCEPTED FOR ANY REASON.
