Teacher Bio:
Mr. Ramirez is married to his wonderful wife who is an instructional coach. Together they have two children, ages 10 and 8. He has been teaching for the past 12 years in various different places and is currently teaching AP European History, AP World History and World History.
Education/Degrees Earned:
Mr. Ramirez earned a Bachelor's degree in History with an emphasis in Secondary Education from the University of Northern Colorado (Go Bears!) and a Master's Degree in European History with an emphasis in British Imperial history from the University of Colorado Denver.
Work Experience:
This will be Mr. Ramirez's first year at Arvada West but he has previously taught at Prairie View High School in the Brighton School district, Kearney Middle School in Adams 14, and Bell Multicultural High School in Washington D.C. Public Schools.
