Teacher Bio:
Hello! My name is Tina Saunders. I am a native of Colorado and a mom of two children. My oldest is a 2014 graduate of Standley Lake HS and dad to my grandson. My youngest is a 2020 graduate of Broomfield HS and just started her nursing classes and program with FRCC. I have three dogs, one tortoise, two beta fish, and a guinea pig. I have five siblings. I am very excited to be a part of the AWest Wildcats!
Education / Degrees Earned:
I have a dual certification in Elementary Education and Special Education from Grand Canyon University. I just started my Masters for Leadership and Advanced Skills in Special Education Intervention at University of Northern Colorado.
Work Experience:
I have been an employee of Jeffco since August of 2013. I have worked as a one on one para and classroom support para in the elementary and middle school setting for special education and SSN.
