Teacher Bio:
After having had a wonderful childhood in Colombia, I worked every day to provide my children with the same sense of joy, love and security I experienced. Now I have one child in college and the other recently graduated. For my students I work very hard to provide them great opportunities to become critical and logical thinkers.
Education/Degrees Earned:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado - Boulder
M.A. in Education from the University of Phoenix
Work Experience:
I spent a few years working as an engineer in Omaha, NE and Richmond, VA. Once my children were born, I moved to Colorado at which point I worked in real estate and as a crisis mediator at the Denver Police Department until I earned my teaching license in 2007. Ever since, I've had the pleasure of teaching math to high school students.
