Hello! Allow me a minute to introduce myself.
I have been a member of the Science Department here at Arvada West since 2005. I earned a degree in Chemistry Education from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) where I also minored in Chemistry, Spanish and got a license to teach Secondary Education. In the first couple of years as a teacher I worked on and completed a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction-Science from the University of Colorado, Denver.
As a teacher here I have taught a variety of courses including Earth Science, Honors Earth Science, Principles of Physics and Biology.
I am currently teaching Chemistry and Integrated Science.
When I'm not here I am enjoying time with family-I am lucky enough to work with my husband, Chuck English, and we are the proud parents of 2 children.
